WELCOME TO WAKATIPU POTTERS

Wakatipu Potters Group is a not-for-profit incorporated society and local community pottery club, that have been in existence in Queenstown since 1982. Our studio is part of Te Atamira, a multi-purpose community arts and cultural space in the heart of the Whakatipu region. ​​

Many of our potters have showcased their creations at local events, such as,

Luma Queenstown (2018),  Arrowtown Spring Flower Show (2024) and Te Atamira Vessels Exhibition (2025).​

Our group is run by a volunteer committee and members who share their passion for pottery with the community

through courses and workshops. ​

The studio is exclusively for members of the group and not open to the general public.

Membership is currently at full capacity and we are not accepting any new members till April 2026.
